Six Leaks Are Draining Your Retirement Right Now
Here's What Just One of Them Is Costing You
That number never appears on your statement.
No line item for it. No letter telling you it happened. No year where anybody calls to say it went up. It just leaves.
Write it down.
That's the first number anybody has ever put in your hand about your own money that you can take to the person holding it and ask about out loud.
And it's one leak of six.
Nobody Robs You All at Once
That's not how it works. The wrong advisor, the buried fee, the product nobody explained. None of it takes everything in one day. It takes a little at a time. A percent here. A signature there. A yes you gave too fast because somebody rushed you.
Year after year, quiet and legal, until the money you spent forty years building comes up short right when you need it most.
None of it was ever explained to you, and that isn't an accident. The whole thing is built to be confusing on purpose. Simple questions come back in language nobody uses at a kitchen table, and after enough of that, a person stops asking.
Will I actually have enough.
Is anyone really on my side.
What is this costing me.
Those are the right questions. You never got a straight answer to one of them, and that was the design working exactly the way it was supposed to.
By the end of this page you'll have the words for all three. And the next person who has to answer them won't be you.
Picture your retirement as a barrel. You spend your whole life pouring in what you can. But there are six leaks along the bottom, draining it quietly the whole time. And four forces up top, taxes, inflation, healthcare, and the two or three market crashes you'll live through in retirement, that nobody controls at all.
Which means you can stop carrying all ten around as one thing there's nothing to be done about. Six of them have your name on them, and this course walks you through every one.
Here Are the Six
The Wolf in the Suit
Two people can sit across from you in the same suit. One of them is legally bound to put your money ahead of their own paycheck. The other one only has to sell you something that fits.
There's one question that separates them, and you ask it word for word. What matters is which of three answers comes back, because only one of them is a straight yes.
Ask it of the person who's been holding your money all these years and you'll know, before a dime moves, whether they're guarding it or feeding on it.
The Statement They Hope You Never Read
Your statement was built to be filed, not read. All those pages and tiny numbers that make your eyes slide right off, that's on purpose, because as long as it doesn't get read there's a place to hide things.
Five things on it tell you the truth. One of them is who inherits the account. People look at that line for the first time in years and find an ex-spouse still named, or a child left off entirely, or the wrong account type on the whole thing.
Do this once and you'll never file another one blind.
Death by a Thousand Fees
A five percent front load on ten thousand dollars means only ninety five hundred ever gets invested. You paid five hundred to walk in the door and nobody said it out loud.
There are six places money leaves, and one of them is a marketing fee tucked inside the fund, which you pay so the fund can be sold to the next person who walks in. FINRA runs a free tool that shows you what a fund's fees cost you over the years.
Write down all six and you'll have your total yearly cost in dollars, not a percent. Then you can ask what you're getting for it, which you have never once been in a position to ask.
The Trap Dressed as a Gift
That feeling where your head starts spinning because there are too many moving parts and you can't tell what the thing costs, that isn't you being slow. It's the design.
Seven plain questions cut through all of it. Here's the one that tells you the most. Every person selling knows exactly what they'll be paid the day you sign. If they know their own commission cold and go fuzzy on what it costs you, that tells you where you rank.
Ask the seven and you walk out of that room with your retirement, and your dignity, still yours.
Ask the same seven about the thing you already signed years ago and you find out what it costs to get out. Some people find out they stopped being locked up a while back and nobody bothered to call.
The Rushed Yes
The guilt close. The fake approval. The countdown. The free dinner. It isn't an accident and it isn't personal. It's a routine, run in order, by somebody who has run it a thousand times.
You don't have to out argue a professional closer. You get all seven plays named, and the exact words to say back to each one.
Name the play out loud and it stops working. You go home. You sleep on it. The whole choreographed thing falls apart at your own kitchen table, because none of it survives one honest night.
The Stranger With Your Money
Almost everyone in the money business has a free public record. Their licenses, every firm they've worked for, and a section that lists customer complaints, regulator actions, and firings.
Searching it by name is how people pull up the wrong person, or a clean record that isn't the one they're standing in front of. There's a number that belongs to one person only, and just asking for it tells you something before you ever look it up.
Ten minutes and you know. And you'll know it about the person who's been holding your money for years, without asking anybody's permission, and without them ever finding out you looked.
Six leaks. Every one of them legal. Every one running right now, this month, whether you look or not.
One afternoon and you can see all six. Which ones are open, what each one is taking, and the exact words that shut it.
And the next time somebody calls you about your money, you'll be the one asking the questions.
Check One Right Now. Free.
This is leak six, and you can shut it today without buying anything.
About ten minutes. If it comes back clean, you sleep better tonight and it cost you nothing. If it doesn't, you found out today instead of at 78, when there's nothing left to fix it with.
That's The Stranger With Your Money, shut, before you've spent a dime with me.
The other five are quieter. No database, no alert, nothing that turns up anywhere you'd think to look.
Nobody is ever going to hand you those. That's what the course is for.
You've probably bought something like this before.
Maybe it worked for a couple months. Maybe it sort of worked. Then it stopped, and there was nobody to ask why, and you were left wondering if you'd done something wrong.
I can't undo that. What I can do is tell you exactly what this is before you spend a dime.
It's nine short videos and seven cheat sheets about six specific places money leaves your account. That's all it is. It's not a system, it doesn't do anything for you, and it won't make you a dollar.
What it does is show you six things you can check yourself, with public tools and your own paperwork, so you can decide what to do about each one.
And you already shut one of them today, for free, before you gave me anything.
Here's Everything You Get
Nine short videos. Plain spoken, watchable in a single afternoon, or one at a time when it suits you. One for each of the six leaks above, plus three more.
- Start Here: Why You Got Burned. What the system actually does to you, and why none of it was your fault.
- Your Never Burned Again Checklist. All six checks on one page, walked through so you know how to use it. The tool you keep for life.
- Seven cheat sheets. One for each of the six leaks, plus the one that goes with Where Do You Actually Stand. One page each, with the exact steps, the exact questions, and what to look for. Print them, keep them by the phone, use them the next time somebody calls you.
- Lifetime access. Come back any time. The next time an advisor calls or a product lands in your lap, all of it is right here.
Plain English, start to finish. No jargon, nothing you have to go look up.
One afternoon, and you never again sit in a room where you're the only person who doesn't know how the thing works.
I'm Dr. Fred Rouse, the REAL Money Doctor.
I once took a five thousand dollar account and built it into two million in about two years. Then I lost every dollar of it in six months.
You don't lose two million dollars and wake up the next morning thinking it's a fine day. You wake up at three in the morning and call yourself a few things you can't print.
I had a family. I went back to working nights and weekends to pay the bills, and I spent the next ten years and about $350,000 of my own money figuring out what I'd gotten wrong.
Some of what I found was about protecting what you've already got. The rest was about what to do once it's safe. This course is the first half.
Before all that I spent nearly three decades as a Certified Financial Planner. I know how the business talks to you because I sat on the other side of that desk, and I walked away from the credential to work for regular people instead of the industry.
I've been broke and scared about money and I came back from it. So I teach what I wish somebody had taught me, in plain kitchen table English.
There are the books and there are the television spots. They're real, and I'm glad they happened.
But does any of that put a dollar in your pocket?
No. So put it aside. It isn't why you should listen to me and it isn't why this works.
Which means when you're done, what you know is yours. You didn't borrow it from somebody who might be wrong, and nobody can take it back.
If You're Thinking It's Too Late for You
You're not thinking about starting over. Neither am I.
Here's the thing about the leaks. They don't care how old you are. They take the same percentage now that they took at 40, except there's no paycheck behind you anymore refilling the barrel.
Every dollar that leaks out at this stage was harder to get than the ones before it, and it isn't coming around again.
So this is where you start.
Not because it's all there is. Because there's no sense pouring anything else in while it's running out the bottom.
That's not a reason to give up. That's the reason it matters more now than it ever did.
And you stop being a man whose money is quietly getting away from him while he isn't looking.
